2014-2015 Band Fees Being Accepted
The 2014-2015 Band Fees of $210 are due no later than July 11, 2014. These payments can be made in installments. For best results, please mail payments to the Post Office Box and list your students name on the check. For those families with multiple students, the fee is $210 for the first student, $160 for each additional.
You can divide your fee in to three payments of $70 each due May 15th, June 15th, and July 15th. Please make checks payable to the LHS Band Boosters.
School Provided Instrument Reminder
As a reminder, all students that are provided an instrument by the school (All percussion, trumpets, baritones, trombones, tubas, bass clarinets, and baritone saxophones), you are required to pay a $20 instrumental rental fee on the first day of Band Camp. This is payable to LHS and given to Mr. Bowman on the first day of Band Camp.
Hawaii 2015 Information
At the recent Hawaii meeting, several key items were distributed and discussed. If you have misplaced yours or were not in attendance, click the various links below.
Hawaii Sign Up Form: This is the same form first distributed last fall that gives us the information needed to allow you to use your student account. All travelers must submit this form. Most already have, but if you are not sure, please send this to the Post Office Box address.
Hawaii Family Contract: This form must be completed by each traveler, youth and adult. Please review and understand each item, especially regarding the June 1st deadline and payment refunds. In simple terms, after airline tickets are purchased, no refunds will be allowed and all band fees must remain current. All monies paid go first to band fees before funds are credited to the trip.
Hawaii Itinerary: This is our current trip plan. Be aware that the trip may move one day to secure the best flight arrangements.
Birdies for the Bridgemen Golf Tournament
The Annual "Birdies for the Bridgemen" Golf Tournament will be held May 6, 2014 at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. This tournament directly benefits the many efforts of the Lowndes High School Band Programs.

July 7-9 – Leadership Camp in Orlando (section Leaders and Drum Majors)
July 10 – Rookie Camp - 9:00-12:00, 2:00-5:00
(All rising 9th graders and section leaders)
July 14-17 – Band Pre-Camp – 9:00-12:00, 2:00-5:00
July 15-Mandatory Band Parent Meeting
July 18-Band Picture Day
July 21-24 – Band Camp - 9:00-12:00, 2:00-8:30
July 28-29 – Band Camp – 9:00-12:00, 2:00-5:00
